Restoring the Resouce Fork of ABI Trace Files
you can view them with Edit View.
This is a common problem when these file are emailed or FTP'ed to the your computer.
To restore the resource fork, download the dnaTools program addResourceFork from the Support Tools link.
Then, using the Mouse, Drag-and-Drop the ABI Trace file or a Folder of Trace files onto the addResourceFork Icon.
An alert dialog box will be displayed asking if you want to create the Resource Forks.
Select OK.
The addResourceFork program works with 377, 3100, and 3700 Chromatograms.
